FAQ
Here are some of the common questions that we have been receiving from our customers. Please reach out if you have any additional questions.
Q: Are all of your products organic?
A: We source anything that we don't grow on property from organic growers. If the herbs and spices are grown on our property, we are not certified organic, but we grow using better than organic practices and are focusing on regeneratively farming our land with our crops and our animals.
Q: How many servings will I get in a tea?
A: We make sure that our 10 serving tea bags contain a full 10 servings. Each serving is 1 teaspoon of tea/herbs steeped into 8oz of water. If you want to make a larger amount, follow that same recipe for best results.
Q: How to I brew loose leaf tea?
A: You will need some type of strainer for the best experience. We offer a variety of strainers for sale, but you can also use what you have at home. Any strainer will work, some fit inside cups, some will need you to use a pot on the stove and pour into the cup through the strainer. You can also go without, but you will be avoiding the leaves in the process, which some people don't enjoy.
Q: Why don't you make tea bags?
A: We have found that tea bags are not only an added expense to the customer, but they are also not the best thing to have in hot water. Many tea bags are made from plastic materials, and we don't want to ingest that. The products that are made from better products are not as durable and will eventually disintegrate in water if left for a long enough time. We prefer loose leaf for this reason. A variety of stainless steel strainers and a glass French press are available in store if you need a strainer option. In rare occasions, for very specific clients, we will make tea bags, but that is not the norm.
Q: I don't like any of the teas you have in stock. Can you make me something else?
A: Our teas rotate seasonally, so while there might not be something you enjoy right now, you might in the future. We do offer custom orders, which includes a custom recipe to your specifications, but there is some back and forth that is needed for this type of custom order. Send us a message and we would love to create something specific for you.
Q: You offer local delivery to my area. Can I just stop by your farm?
A: While we love having visitors, we ask that you respect our space and our home unless you are invited over. With multiple families near us, we also want to respect their privacy. You can find us locally at various events, on FB and IG and as always, will deliver without an additional fee to our local zip codes.
Q: Where can I find your teas locally to East Tennessee?
A: If you are local, you can find our teas at these locations. We are always looking for more market partners, so please reach out if you are interested in stocking our tea or any of our other products.

A: Send us a message if you live in the Knoxville, TN area. I require an in person meeting to make sure the quality is up to our standards.
Q: I see you have bulk herbs and spices. Do you have others available that I can purchase?
A: Potentially yes. While we try to list our most popular herbs and spices for sale, we do have a very full apothecary as well as full gardens most of the year, that you might be able to purchase from. If you have a specific need, feel free to reach out. We would love to help.
Q: I don't like a tea. Can I return it?
A: All of our products are consumables and therefore we don't offer returns. If you have a tea that you don't enjoy, we ask that you pass it onto a friend or neighbor to spread the love. You never know who might need a cup of tea.
Q: Are your wheat berries and flour organic?
A: Yes. While we don't grow our own wheat, we do source from an organic grower.
Q: Do you ever sell fresh produce?
A: Our farm and our website is not currently set up for fresh sales. We do offer fresh herbs and medicinal flowers locally. Please send us a message and we would be happy to help.
Q: I have a product suggestion, where can I share that info?
A: Please send us a message. We would love to hear from you!
Q: I love a product that you used to make. Can I still get it?
A: In most cases, yes. We still make the majority of the products that we have sold in the past for our family. We have just chosen, for a multitude of reasons, to not sell them to the public anymore. If you are interested in any of these discontinued products, please reach out and we can message you when we have made a batch. It might not be on the timeframe you are needing, but it never hurts to ask.
